This year MaHIMA will be offering an educational session that will span 5 sessions based on HIM topics for a total of 10 CEUs. This session will begin on August 2023 and end September 2023. All sessions are being recorded and registered attendees will have immediate access on our LMS to all recordings. CEUs will be issued after the sessions or immediately following completion on the LMS. Dot Wagg Memorial Legislative Virtual Seminar – November 3, 2023This legislatively focused meeting offers continuing education units (ceu’s) to health information management professionals on topics such as HIPAA updates and Omnibus, topic breaches, health information exchange, meaningful use and how to respond to an audit. This meeting occurs in November for 4 CEUs virtually. Winter Educational Virtual Meeting - February 2, 2024This is a four hour educational virtual meeting for MaHIMA members held the first Friday in February, which includes a state business meeting. MaHIMA Annual Conference - 2024 TBDTwo full day educational session occurs in the spring of 2024 with vendor exhibits including educational workshop sessions preceding the conference. The location is to be determined in 2024. |
