MaHIMA Student Webinar-Bridging the Gap Between Coding and CDI with CAC demonstration

May 27 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

$10.00

This webinar is for student’s providing an overall summary of common coding, CDI workflows and a CAC demonstration.

The shift to value-based care reimbursement methodologies and other driving healthcare initiatives means that both clinical documentation improvement (CDI) and coding accuracy are more important than ever before. Computer-assisted coding (CAC) technologies allow coding and CDI teams to utilize one workspace to promote collaboration, improve productivity, eliminate redundancies and focus on the cases that have the most profound impact on the organization.

During this presentation, the speaker will discuss common coding and CDI workflows and tasks and how CAC, powered by artificial intelligence, improves coding outcomes and automatically prioritize CDI’s cases to review. Attendees will see a sneak peak of those workflows brought to life within a top rated CAC solution that will emphasize the flow of a patient chart as it transitions from CDI to coding or to any other team who can leverage CAC’s data.
