Major duties:

  • Attend all meetings of the Board of Directors and the Association
  • Serve on the following committees: Planning, Finance, Communications, Awards Task Force
  • Attend the AHIMA State Leadership Conference and AHIMA Team Talks
  • Attend the AHIMA House of Delegates representing MaHIMA as a Delegate
  • Assume duties of the President in his/her absence or inability to act (to be determined by Board of Directors)
  • Solicit volunteers for committee memberships
  • Activate the electronic voting website for the new election year, following procedures outlined by AHIMA
  • Record minutes for each MaHIMA Board Meeting & State Business Meeting
