Job Description: Seeking a faculty member
to teach medical coding and reimbursement courses in its Health
Information Technologies program. The instructor will
teach 3-4 courses each semester, maintain office hours, advise
students, participate in faculty meetings and perform college
service. Requirements: Bachelor's degree and appropriate
professional certification(s). A master's degree and
college teaching experience are required for the Assistant
Professor rank. Five years experience with medical records
management, ICD-9-CM and CPT 4/HCPCS is also required, as
is knowledge of reimbursement requirements for all payers.
