Job Description: Under the general direction
of the Manager of Health Information Services, Inpatient Scanning,
the Data Flow Lead is responsible for promoting quality and
efficient flow of data required for quality document imaging
of medical records. The Data Flow Lead will be responsible
for developing tools to monitor quality and flow of scanned
medical records. Requirements: Associates degree
in Health Information Technology. Bachelor's degree
in Health Information Management preferred. Certification
of RHIT or RHIA is preferred, or previous experience in HIS
department, including knowledge of HIM principals, along with
information security and confidentiality. Minimum of
3 years of health information systems and applications experience
including document imaging and data quality management.
Experience with benchmarking performance against identified
criteria is desired.
