Job Description: MGH MGPO Billing Compliance Office is looking for an experienced coder to provide compliance support services to a multi-specialty group of physician and non-physician practitioners located in and around the Massachusetts North Shore area. Compliance support services will include, but not limited to: providing group and individual practitioner training and edicatuon; completing audits of professional services provided in a variety of settings; providing timely and detailed feedback to practitioners and periodic updates to group practice management; working collaboratively with a coding and billing team to resolve complex billing issues. The Compliance Coding Analyst will be part of MGH MGPO Billing Compliance Office but will physically reside in a group practice located in Salem, MA after completing an orientation period at the Billing Compliance Office in Boston. Requirements: CPC, RHIA, or other relevant coding certification/degree; minimum of 5 years healthcare coding or other relevant healthcare experience; minimum 3 years experience in coding evaluation and management services; strong communication skills.
