Job Description: This highly visible position, reporting directly to the Director, Provider Payment Policy and Professional Reimbursement Strategy, is responsible for collaborating with Health Care Contract Management's (HCCM) senior Leadership, Medical Innovation Leadership, and other company leaders to develop, adapt and evolve the short and long-range provider payment policy strategy for the corporation. This position involves working cross-functionally to assist in the development and management of the company's integrated, continuous strategic and business planning process for provider payment policy and professional provider reimbursement. In addition, the scope of this position includes review and analysis of long term professional provider reimbursement methodologies and strategies, including recommendations for modifications to existing professional reimbursement methodology. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; Masters degree in Business Administration or other advanced degree preferred. Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS and ICD-9 Coding; Certified Professional Coder preferred. Demonstrated experience in strategic and operational planning. 4-6 years experience in the health care industry preffered but not required. 6-8 years of overall business experience with profressive leadership positions in health care, financial services, and/or management consulting.
